The National Federation of Anglers (NFA) is the governing body for freshwater angling in England, actively promoting and encouraging angling development from grass roots, through clubs and regional bodies. The NFA are also responsible for the international angling squads.

Controlled by Stokesley Angling Club this water is situated right opposite the Cleveland Tontine Inn & restaurant. Well stocked with Large carp, pike, tench, & bream. This is also the home to some large eels and lots of small perch and roach. There are also some chub, rudd, crucian carp and gudgeon.

3	Hutton Rudby Ponds Situated on the west side of Hutton Rudby village, these two ponds are controlled by Middlesbrough Angling Club. Contain tench, crucians, roach, rudd and some chub. Category: Home/Coarse Fishing Waters/Coarse Fishing In England/Cleveland

Carr’s Pond, Seamer
A good small water with 20lb+ carp which get caught fairly regularly. There’s also a good head of general coarse fish – roach, perch, tench and gudgeon. To find it take the B1365 out of Middlesbrough towards Stokesley and take the second turn-off to Seamer. Once in the village turn right by the duck-pond and stay on the road for about three-quarters of a mile. The pond is on the left (near a large farmhouse).
